Sessions

The St. Helens School District listening sessions are designed to be open-ended without an agenda so that the community may provide feedback about what is going well in the district and what are challenges to overcome.

It’s been three years since the St. Helens School District finalized its strategic plan and set out a new mission of Strengthening Community through Exceptional Schools to achieve a vision for the district of Exceptionally Educated Students by the Most Skilled and Highly Compassionate Staff.

As part of developing that plan, the district engaged in listening sessions over the past several years during which participants reflected on specific questions to build a plan that was reflective of our community’s wants and needs.

In the spirit of continued responsiveness and transparency, the St. Helens School District has scheduled four additional listening sessions with Superintendent Stockwelll for the 2018-19 school year, including sessions in November, February and April. The last session is from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, at St Helens High School, 2375 Gable Rd.

The listening sessions are designed to be open-ended without an agenda so that the community may provide feedback about what is going well in the district and what are challenges to overcome.

We hope you are able to find time to join us at St. Helens High School for the last our our four district listening sessions.
