Fraud Alert

The Chronicle has been informed of a possible phone scam. We have received the following information from the St. Helens Booster Club.

The St. Helens Booster Club would like to make all of our sponsors aware of a scam that has been reported involving the sales of ads in the Yellow Calendars.

An outside agency (Sports Media) from Omaha, Nebraska, has been sending St. Helens area businesses invoices for St. Helens Sports Calendars.

We will never outsource this task. If you ever have the slightest suspicion about a correspondence from the Boosters, please feel free to contact the SHHS Athletic Department at 503-397-1900.

Over the past few years, the Chronicle has assembled several online stories about various phone scams. Visit thechronicleonline.com for more information.
