St. Helens Police Department

March 17 – At 1:40 a.m. Tervor Hernandez was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured on Highway 30 near Gable Road. His vehicle was impounded as a hazard.

March 17 – Douglas Eldridge, 58, of St. Helens, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Gable Road at 2:13 a.m.

March 17 – At 9:07 a.m. Christina Lowe, 45, of Scappoose, was arrested for third-degree theft and first-degree trespassing in the 530 block of Columbia River Highway.

March 17 – Kane Klassen, 34, of St. Helens, was arrested for violating his probation in the 1600 block of Old Portland Road.

March 17 – At 5:02 p.m. Joshua Wolford, 35, of St. Helens, was arrested for menacing, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Columbia Boulevard and south 8th Street.

March 17 – Following a traffic stop on south 18th Street near Old Portland road, Joseph Shcmit, 54, of St. Helens, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

March 17 – At 11:29 p.m. a criminal drug investigation was conducted following a traffic stop in the parking lot of LORI’s Lounge.

March 19 – Joshua Stidham, 29, of St. Helens, was arrested for outstanding warrants and found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana extract in the 780 block of south Columbia River Highway at 3:26 a.m.

March 19 – At 7:15 a.m. Trenton Pilkington, 20, of St. Helens, was arrested on several charges after breaking into a trailer in the 1300 block of Kaster Road. Pilkington was arrested for first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass and possession of methamphetamine.

March 19 – A grenade was turned in to the police department at 11:27 a.m.

March 19 – At 7:49 p.m. Christopher Matthews, 35, of St. Helens, was arrested for second-degree theft from Wal-Mart.

March 20 – An outstanding warrant led to the arrest of Eric Relation, 41, of St. Helens, near Matzen Street and McBride Street at 9:33 a.m.

March 20 – At 10:08 a.m. John Shiprack, 47, of St. Helens, was arrested after attempting to escape arrest for outstanding warrants. The incident took place near the entrance to McCormick Park.

March 20 – Multiple outstanding warrants led to the arrest of Casey Austin, 21, of Gresham, in the 300 block of South Columbia River Highway at 11:29 a.m. Austin was also charged with driving while suspended at the felony level.

March 20 – At 1:50 p.m. Brady Johnson, 23, of St. Helens, was arrested for violation of his restraining order in the 1150 block of Deer Island Road.

March 20 – A man driving westbound on Plymouth Street collided with a woman driving northbound on South 17th Street at 5:57 p.m.

March 20 – At 11:11 p.m. Alvin Erickson was cited for driving uninsured on Highway 30 near Pittsburg Road. His vehicle was towed by Drake’s Towing.    

March 21 – Elizabeth Snider, 31, of St. Helens, was cited and released for third-degree theft following a theft investigation at Wal-Mart at 1:15 a.m.

March 21 – At 12:46 p.m. Evan Hadlock had his vehicle impounded after driving while suspended near the intersection of Columbia River Highway and Firlock Park.

March 21 – Danielle Fox, 29, of St. Helens, was arrested for driving while suspended in the 370 block of south 18th Street at 4:13 p.m.  

March 23 – At 11:07 a.m. Jerrid Selmeyer, 51, of St. Helens, was taken into custody for driving while suspended in the 58770 block of Columbia River Highway.

March 24 - Heather Moran, 32, of St. Helens, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with giving false information in the 220 block of south 13th Street.

March 24 – At 1:28 p.m. Katherine Anderson, 48, of St. Helens, was arrested for violating a no-contact order at Whitetail Avenue and Sykes Road.

March 24 – Christie Nagel was issued a citation for driving while suspended in the 790 block of south Columbia River Highway at 1:53 p.m.

March 25 – At 8:48 p.m. Travis Cook, 27, of Scappoose was cited and released for third-degree theft at Wal-Mart.

March 26 – Carlos Morris, 39, was arrested for third-degree theft at Wal-Mart at 3:12 p.m.  

Columbia County Sheriff’s Office

March 12 – Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 27600 block of Wonderly Road.

March 12 – A domestic disturbance was reported on Hirtzel Road.

March 12 - Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 57811 Columbia River Highway.

March 13 – Chrystal Steele, 35, of Warren, was arrested after a domestic disturbance on Achilles Road and Columbia River Highway. Steele was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

March 13 – A disturbance was reported in the 31800 block of Canaan Road.

March 13 - Deputies responded to a disturbance at 74380 Fern Hill Road where they arrested Lona-Akoni Hudson, 24, of Rainier. Hudson was arrested for harassment.

March 14 – A domestic disturbance was reported in the 50800 block of southwest Old Portland Road.

March 14 - Deputies responded to an unwanted subject in progress in the 16740 block of Timber Road.

March 15 – Deputies assisted Rainier Police with a fight in the 75700 block of Rockcrest Street.  

March 15 – A domestic disturbance was reported in the 69600 block of Nicolai Cut-Off Road.

March 15 - Deputies responded to a call of gunshots heard in the 72500 block of Dwight Drive.

March 15 - Deputies assisted Rainier Police with a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of east F Street.

March 15 – A domestic disturbance was reported in the 73900 block of Columbia River Highway.

March 16 - Deputies responded to an outside agency assist in the 400 block of west Columbia River Highway. Austin Rowe, 21, a transient, was arrested for probation violation.

March 16 - A domestic disturbance was reported in the 79740 block of Stewart Creek Road.

March 16 - Deputies responded to a violation of restraining order in the 27070 block of Kingsley Road. Candy Burgess, 60, of Scappoose was arrested for violating her restraining order.  

March 17 - Deputies responded to a fight in the 34880 block of north Honeyman Road.

March 17 – Frank Maldonado, 49, of Vernonia, was arrested after a reported fight in the 1340 block of Rose Avenue. Maldonado was arrested for menacing, criminal trespass and attempted unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

March 17 - Deputies were involved in a pursuit and a dog track on Atkins Road and Alston Road. Frank Robb, 51, of Rainier was arrested on three counts of being a fugitive from another state, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, two counts of reckless endangering and reckless driving.  

March 17 – An assault was reported in the 61060 block of Columbia River Highway.

March 17 - Deputies assisted St. Helens Police with an assault in the 450 block of north 10th Street.

March 17 – A fight was reported in the 64700 block of Vocana Lane.

March 18 – A search warrant led to the arrest of Richard Robuck, 38, of St. Helens, in the 190 block of north 7th Street. Robuck was arrested for failure to appear and fourth-degree assault.

March 18 – Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 27470 block of Gibbs Road.

March 18 – Reports of gunfire was reported in the area of Price Road.

March 18 - Deputies responded to a reported robbery in the area of Holbrook Road and Fairview Road.

March 21 - Deputies responded to a domestic in the 73400 block of Doan Road. William Klinke, 63, of Rainier, was arrested for menacing and for driving under the influence of intoxicants.  

March 22 – Sheryl Norred, 60, of Rainier, was arrested in the 74400 block of Columbia River Highway. Norred was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

March 23 - Deputies, along with assistance from other agencies executed a search warrant in the 2540 block of Gable Road where Devin Shockley, 25, of St. Helens, was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a minor.

March 23 - Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 34000 block of East Columbia Avenue. 

March 24 – Donovan Wood, 21, of Rainier, was arrested after deputies responded to a disturbance in the 15000 block of Neer Way. Wood was arrested on a warrant.  

March 24 – Brian Alder, 44, of St. Helens, was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Columbia Boulevard. Alder was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.  

March 25 – A warrant service led to the arrest of Rene Sears, 60, of Vernonia, in the 55800 block of Nehalem Highway South.

March 25 – Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 29600 block of Fir Street.

March 25 – A domestic disturbance was reported in the 75800 block of Price Road.

March 25 – Deputies responded to a juvenile situation located in the 30800 block of Dowd Road.

Scappoose Police Department

March 20 - Police towed an abandoned vehicle on southwest Old Portland Road near southwest Dutch Canyon Road.

March 21 - Following a traffic stop in the 33000 block of southwest Havlik Drive police arrested Justin Tierney, 26, for driving while suspended and ignition interlock device required.

March 21 - Police responded to the 51000 block of Columbia River Highway on a report of a shoplifter in progress. Following an investigation police arrested Sarah Cameron, 42, for second-degree theft.

March 22 - Following a traffic stop on southwest E M Watts Road near Dutch Canyon Road police recovered stolen property for Portland Police.

March 22 - Police took a report of theft from yards in the 52000 block of northeast Sawyer Street.

March 23 - Police responded to the 51000 block of Columbia River Highway on a report of a shoplifter in progress.

March 23 - Following a traffic complaint in on east Columbia Avenue police arrested Bruce Albright, 46, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving in the 34000 block of Green Meadow Way.

March 23 - Police responded to the 52000 block of southwest 4th Street on a report of a possible assault that occurred.

March 24 - Police responded to the 51000 block of Columbia River Highway on a report of second-degree criminal mischief.

March 25 - Stephanie Helms, 28, was arrested in the 51000 block of southeast 2nd Street for four outstanding warrants. Helms was booked and lodged in the Columbia County Jail.  

Rainier Police Department

March 17 - An officer responded to a two-vehicle accident on West B Street near Veterans Way. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

March 17 - A music lover was given a warning for excessive noise. They agreed to turn down their music so the neighbors could sleep.

March 17 - An officer checked on a suspicious vehicle that was parked with an open door and trunk. Unable to reach the registered owner, the officer closed the open doors.

March 17 - An officer was dispatched to a suspicious person at a tavern. When the officer arrived, the subject ran out the back door.

March 17 - An officer went to check on a suspicious person. After contact, the subject was verbally warned about littering.

March 17 - An elderly person accidentally locked himself out of their residence. A locksmith was en route, but due to the cold weather, an officer transported the man to a place to warm up while he waited.

March 18 - Officers were investigating a hit and run that occurred near the Del and Mart.

March 19 - Officers checked on a reportedly suspicious man at a bar. The man checked out okay.

March 20 - Current registration stickers were stolen off a parked vehicle.  

March 20 - A caller reported an erratic driver that almost hit her and she stated the driver was ‘flailing his arms around’.  An officer made contact with the driver of the vehicle and he was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.

March 20 - Officers were dispatched to a loud verbal disturbance.  A couple was arguing and the man was upset, as he needed to leave for work. The woman agreed to leave his residence and peace was restored.

March 20 - A cell phone was reported as stolen from a residence.

March 21 - A dog owner was given a verbal warning about his dogs running at large.

March 21 - A Toyota Camry was reported as stolen.

March 21 - A caller reported seeing a male that appeared to be high or intoxicated and was walking very slowly, hunched over.  The male, Adam Wilburn, 37, had an outstanding warrant and was transported to the jail.

March 21 - A person was reported panhandling near the Shell Station.  They were advised they were in violation of city ordinance.

March 21 - A caller was concerned about a vehicle in the triangle going to the bridge.  The vehicle had damage and the caller did not see anyone around it.  An officer arrived and found the damage to the vehicle was old, the driver was very tired and had pulled off the roadway to rest.

March 22 - Officers went to check on a unit when a caller said they heard the screen door open and shut. No one was at the residence.

March 23 - A caller reported seeing a small dog chase a cat and the neighbor kick the dog.  Later, someone reported finding a small mixed breed dog. The dog was reunited with its owner.

March 23 - A man was given a warning when found urinating in a parking lot.

March 23 - Officers responded to a family disturbance. Alcohol was reported as a contributing factor. Peace was restored.

March 23 - A man repeatedly came into a business and yelled at the reporting at the clerk. The male was advised not to return to the establishment.

CCSO Clatskanie Station

March 12 - A follow up in the 27000 block of Old Rainier Road led to the arrest of Eric Archibald, 33, of Rainier. Archibald was arrested on a warrant.

March 15 - A juvenile situation was reported in the 880 block of northwest 5th Street.

March 15 - Deputies responded to assist Rainier Police with a domestic disturbance in the 510 block of east A Street.

March 15 - A domestic disturbance was reported in the 27240 block of Wonderly Road.

March 16 - Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 79740 block of Stewart Creek Road.

March 16 - An assault was reported in the 470 block of southwest Bel Air Drive.

March 16 - Deputies assisted assist Rainier Police with a domestic disturbance call at 75020 Crestview Lane.

March 18 - Deputies responded to a fight in the 210 block of southwest 3rd Street.

March 18 - A domestic disturbance in the 76620 block of Alston Mayger Road led to the arrest of Melissa Gibson, 42, of Rainier. Gibson was arrested for first-degree attempted assault, six counts of unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, reckless endangering and harassment. 

March 20 - Deputies responded to an aircraft incident in the area of Erickson Dike Road and Collins Road 1. Oregon State Police and the Coast Guard took primary on the call.

March 20 – Joni Hamilton, 35, of Clatskanie, was arrested after a harassment call in the 960 block of southwest Tichnor Street. Hamilton was arrested on a warrant.

March 20 - Deputies responded to an assault call in the 180 block of northwest 5th Street.

March 20 – Danny Hampton, 57, of Clatskanie, was arrested after a domestic call in the 400 block of West Columbia River Highway. Hampton was arrested on a warrant.

March 20 - Deputies responded to a juvenile situation in the 770 block of East Columbia River Highway.

March 21 - Deputies responded to an assault call in the 360 block of southwest Bel Air Drive.

March 23 - Deputies responded to a promiscuous shooting call in the 19830 block of Thomas Road.

March 23 – A disturbance was reported in the 22920 block of Highway 30.

March 25 – David Maes, 56, of Clatskanie, was arrested after a traffic stop on northwest 5th Street and Stimson Mill Road. Maes was arrested for driving while revoked.

March 25 - Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance located in the 180 southeast 3rd Street.
