I can’t believe it’s already the middle of May, can you? All segments of our business are really busy, and unfortunately, the prices reflect that. As most of you have probably seen or heard, (or maybe read about in this newspaper) the price of building materials is high. We’re hoping we might see a bit of a respite soon, and we expect it to be about 120 days out if that helps you to plan your projects. The prices won’t drop in huge amounts, but it will relent a little bit - at least, that’s the best guess we’ve got.
However, our Farm & Ranch business is doing very well. We’ve got one of the largest selections of farm gates, feeders, and water troughs in the state of Oregon. Yes, there have been some supply issues, but we’ve got a pretty good supply on hand right now. The price of feed is up a little bit, too, but still very profitable. We’d also like to mention that if you pick up a ton of feed or more, we’ll deliver it for a small fee.
Which brings us to our upcoming Memorial Day Sale! For a limited time only, we have ready-built cedar garden boxes which vary in price from $39-$89. On Memorial Day, we’ll be dropping the price by 15 percent, and you can get your seeds for planting at half off! Not only that, but we’re dropping our price on barbeque pellets by a dollar, down to $5.99. And, as if Eric wasn’t crazy enough, he’s dropping a dime off our already stubbornly low price on propane - you can pick some up for $1.89.
Stop by and see us! We’ll help you kick this summer off right!
Until next time ...
